- Financial Information (via Plaid): If you choose to connect your financial accounts, we collect data provided by Plaid, Inc., including transaction history, account balances, and account holder details.

- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including features used and time spent.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, and pages viewed.

4. AI Processing
Our Service includes AI-powered features, such as photo verification for habits. When you use these features:
- Your photos are processed by AI systems to verify habit completion
- We do NOT use your photos to train AI models
- AI processing results are stored only to provide you with verification history
- You can opt out of AI features and use manual verification instead
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

Within your household account, certain information may be visible to other household members based on your sharing preferences.
5.2 Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service:
- Supabase: Database and authentication services
- Stripe/Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing
- Cloud Storage Providers: Secure file storage
- AI Service Providers: Image analysis for verification features
- Plaid, Inc.: To provide our financial management features, we use Plaid to connect to your bank accounts. By using this feature, you are also subject to Plaid's Privacy Policy.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

- End-to-end encryption for Legacy Vault documents

7. Data Retention and Deletion
Our organization adheres to the principle of data minimization, retaining user data only for as long as is necessary to provide the services requested by the user.
All personal and financial data is retained for the duration of a user's active account to ensure full functionality of the application.
Users have the right to delete their account and all associated data at any time through the application's settings or by contacting our support email. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, all personally identifiable information (PII) and financial data linked to the user's account will be securely and permanently purged from our primary production databases within a 30-day period. Data may persist in secure, encrypted system backups for an additional limited period before being permanently erased as part of the normal backup lifecycle.
This policy is reviewed annually to ensure it remains in compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
